This record is quite different from their debut, "The Codex Necro", with the clean-sung choruses and the more conventional song structures. However, they have not lost one bit of their aggressiveness. Their songs are still brutal as ever, and songs like "Screaming of the Unborn" and "Castigation and Betrayal" are fine examples of their sheer unadulterated black metal attack.
