M=moderator. i guess i flagged enough wrong entries that they are just letting me correct them myself instead of having to go through a daily report of changes to make. so i'm more like a glorified prrofreader. but i don't mind-- i worked as a proofreader during college, and i kinda like it. i just have to remember to capitalize, though!! lol.

i for one have no problem believing someone has heard this many albums-- i've just started putting stuff in, and i'm already at 3500. i have had all kinds of friends that played me all kinds of stuff throughout my 40 years, and you only have to hear the album once to have heard it-- it doesn't say you have to have the songs memorized, or own it, or even LIKE the album-- just have heard it. i own over 4000 cds myself, but some are away from me in storage, but what i REALLY find amazing is that between the almost 6000 that you have listed and the 3500 i have listed, there is an overlap of only about a thousand-- THAT is what i find amazing.

I noticed that some people have a tendency to disbelieve that another can listen to this many albums in their lifetime. I don't see what's so hard to believe about that - but before any skeptics even start commenting, let me clarify: I do not OWN all of these albums. In fact I probably only own about a quarter of them. I've HEARD all of them throughout my life, because in high school I interned at several music stores, and after school I worked at a few of them for a long time. I also worked for many years at a small concert venue (where my then-band played countless times), and then later at a large concert arena. So yeah, I've been exposed to a LOT of music, over many years. Don't believe me? Okay =)
